TREASURER REPORT:
The checking account has $2,320.87, the money market has $2,904.04, the CD has $4,004.02, equals $9,228.93. Motion by 2nd John Thomas by Ralph Turner to accept treasurers’ report.
Dues not received Dolton, Lynwood, and Markham.
TRAINING:
John Thomas passed out some standards material that Tinley pasted out in 1998. We may want to have some standards set for SMART municipalities.
Spotters training 4/18 Hazel Crest Village Hall 170th & Holmes 19:00.
Tinley Park requested to be the test site for Grant application for train the trainer stuff.
Bob Small & John Thomas attended meeting for Public Safety committee of SSMMA. Sites were determined to have medication (oral meds) in case needed, but the sites weren’t disclosed at the meeting. Will county is going through the same process and now are planning what sites to use. There was a big discussion of how this will all happen.
There was an inquiry about a 1st aid class. If anyone is planning a 1st Aid or First Responders course let us know.
COMMUNICATIONS:
A SMART page was sent Monday about 15:05 & Thursday at about 10:10 to alphanumeric pagers & NEXTELs.
CC Hills didn’t get Thursday page.
EQUIPMENT:
Keep John Dobner updated on changes of, phone numbers, Vehicles, equipment, PAGERS, NEXTEL’s etc.
John handed out SMART equipment updates to communities present.

March 15, 16 There is a 2 day Ground search and rescue class. Will county has a trainer if we need him to do a class (16 hours).
March 26 there was training on nuclear at Dresdon.
Topoff is in May Will County will be helping out.

The US Open is in Olympia Fields June 9-16th hours are 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The New Greater Chicago Auto auction will be the public parking area. Volmer Rd between Kedzie & Western will be closed.
Sandy has a motor home he can get that needs work.
