OLD BUSINESS:

Accountability tags when we are out on mutual aid. Tells what vehicle and who is with the vehicle. One ESDA bought this in 1995 and their cost was between $200-$500. Small has an internet site contact. Need committee to look into costs etc. Jim Dean, Jeff Schoeling, and Bob Small will handle this task.

Tim Karwatka received a price on SMART rocker, 500 at $.96 each equals $480. Motion to order patches by John Ranieri and 2nd by Bill Potocki.

Stationary with SMART logo in red ink and other writing in blue ink, cost is $62.00 for 500 sheets. SMART envelopes are $42.00 for 500. Motion to order stationary and envelopes not to exceed $150.00 by Jim Dzurny 2nd by Art Johnson.

So far the ESDA days tentative plan is to have parade and BBQ. Still planning, once again there is an insurance issue that comes up when we have these non-emergency events.

NEW BUSINESS:

Box alarm assignment codes added one for schools. Since we have multiple pager services now is it still feasible to use the numeric pager codes? Do we need the incident command sheets. We are all on Alpha Numeric pagers now is it possible to have someone always at a computer able to page SMART.

July 22 6:30 AM = Tinley Park may need assistance.

IPASS transponders contact Tollway Authority cost is minimal and you pay for what tolls you pass through.

SMART 20 year banquet is in planning stages for 2002.

ADJOURNED at 21:15 April 12, 2001. Motion by Butch Stoffregen 2nd by all.
