Motion to approve previous meeting minutes by Sandy Patlak 2nd
by John Ranieri.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Illinois EMA registration form has been mailed for conference.
SMART insurance program was talked about by Small again. Revised copy
handed out package is similar to IRMA plan. AIG insurance group put package
together.
Dolton didn't receive a meeting notice for this month.
TREASURER REPORT:
The checking has $1,987.07, the money market has $1,604.76, the CD has
$2,786.48, equals $6,378.31. Motion by Bill Potocki 2nd by Jeff
Schoeling to accept treasurers' report.
TRAINING:
Rich Township planning traffic class.
COMMUNICATIONS:
SMART page was about 14:00. Steve White and Cook County duty officer
failed per the computer.
EQUIPMENT:
Keep John updated on changes.
Updates will be made available every 6 months.

Working Tropican race track 110,000 people expected, Illinois State
Police, Will County, New Lenox, Manhattan Police working.
Legislative Laison:
Not in session.
IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Association):
Conference Sept 4 - 6 Springfield Crowne Plaza Hotel.
RED CROSS LIAISON:
On call specialist program has started. This means the specialist will
be on duty for a while.
Had a couple of Disaster drills that worked well examples are; Railroad,
bomb squads. Training to be team players.
OLD BUSINESS:
Accountability tags, Small had more information on tags. Can be blank
or printed.
Tinley Park run bike whatever on July 22 06:45 AM at Tinley EOC. A lot
of help is needed.
NEW BUSINESS:
August 23-26 Sauk Village having Fire bash, help needed.
Steger fest Thanks for help to those that could assist.
August 25th Parade in Steger 12:30 - 16:00. Marked vehicles
and personnel needed.
Columbine High School shootings CD job aid. Go to FEMA web page under
Terrorism. The CD is free.
Sept 15th Crestwood ESDA Open house. Com van to be ready
to roll.
September 2nd Labor day parade in Oak Forest.
