ESDA standards, Cook has made the rounds around the county.

2. Incident command training will be made available to help in the standards.

3. Meetings, training, etc. will be done to make sure you know what you will get when you call for equipment.

If you want to join the LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) Kevin has forms.

NEW BUSINESS:

Lansing Mayor was talking with by Sandy Patlak about ESDA.  There seems to be interest by the Mayor to start an ESDA.

Dolton didn’t get a call about the house that blew up in his town.  Riverdale, South Holland, and Calumet City assisted at the house.  SMART wasn’t called for mutual aid assistance.  Sandy will be talking with his 9-1-1 center in the morning in regards to why Dolton ESDA wasn’t called.  (This is a local jurisdictional thing that needs to be corrected in house.)

Chicago Heights inquired about the Radiological Monitoring gear replacement from Nuclear Regulatory commission.  It seems since Nuclear Regulatory has taken over and the replacements are taking a little longer.

ADJOURNED at 20:32 March 14, 2002.  Motion by Sandy Patlak 2nd by Dean Bloom.

Respectfully Submitted,
